Biography
Wesley Hurd was born in Claremont, California. He holds a graduate degree in theology, a PhD in education, and earned his MFA from the University of Oregon, where he received two graduate fellowships. In 2007, Hurd was nominated for the Portland Art Museum’s Northwest Contemporary Art Award. He currently lives and teaches at Gutenberg College in Eugene, Oregon.
