Biography
Hailing originally from New Hampshire, local artist Ethan Jackson received his MFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1996. He has been honored by a number of artist residencies and awards, including recent stays as artist-in-residence at Yaddo in Saratoga Springs, the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Park, and Taos, New Mexico via the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation. Jackson has exhibited internationally and across the U.S., from Portland to Austin to New York, and his work has been reviewed in a broad range of publications, including The New York Times, The Bay Guardian, and the journal of creative sustainability.
